CLB is a classic but this ain't bad at all.
i hope there isn't much oxygen left on planet drake
Who cares
Doesnât really matter, just wanted to understand what he was saying
He dropped TPAB it was too boring preachy no replay value, he dropped DAMN. it was basic, too poppy, overplayed songs
Canât please everybody
mans had a traumatic life.
As I get older I find myself really understanding his words more and they have me almost tearing up so often
Yâall ainât ready for the concept behind this album
First 9 divine masculine second 9 divine feminine. First 8 kinda tell the story of it being misused/abused with the last track bringing it to actuality. Mirror is kinda a bonus explaining to yâall why he did what he did
Like I said.. this album the schizo version of 4:44
What happened to just making good music and a good album with replay value? Why does everything need to be âdifferentâ and have weird ass messages and ideas? Why does he have to use weird ass names like wtf is a Oklama or a pgLang????
you have like a dozen replies already but ill just say this
it doesnt have to be anything
when you make music: which is more organic?
making music you want or making music for the intrinsic purpose of replay value?
we cry together got me crine
Didnât realize how split people are on that track lol
Niggas donât even know dawg
Was just having a candid moment with a good friend of mine about my relationship with my pops
Ended up listening to the album at that friends house
Father Time came on I was speechless man

Itâs Kendrick what do you expect
And Ghost killed that s***
he didnât do a bad job or anything, itâs just not clicking with me just yet ig
Now THAT s*** hit me hard as someone who definitely had to get my usage under control before I could process some of my past similar to the subject matter of Mother I Sober
Healing is forgiveness and trust in yourself to face the pain head-on and survive
Totally.. the only way around is through âđŒ

Man holy f*** youâre right
Yeah I said last night I walk away from every kendrick album like âman that was depressingâ
I was listening to damn earlier and this s*** is so bleak
i hope there isn't much oxygen left on planet drake
They can't even say things they actually believe. There are zero bullets in the Ye/Drake better gun besides "hey this sounds better when me and my friends are talking over it and barely listening to it"
wym? Kendrick's not preachy here at all, he literally says he's not a savior and he does f***ed up s*** too. And if you're not tryna hear it, well, running away from the problems ain't gon fix them.
but like he could have did it in a fun way atleast lol

Bro pGlang is just his new collective man lol that's all
I feel like Kendrick really came from an honest perspective on the album and it was beautiful to see someone just feel human and honest. Thats what I liked about the 2018 Ye era despite not agreeing with him on everything same with this. A lot of great songs on this album in both directions, and United In Grief is the masterpiece of the album.
TPAB is def my fav Kendrick album but this album is super exciting and inspiring. Might be next after that one
wow so better than GKMC?
Man i woke up today feeling United in Grief. I had to get my N95 so i can go outside Worldwide Stepping, because if i forgot it covid would make me Die Hard, sorry gotta go soon its almost Father Time, his name is Rich and he has a Rich Spirit, We Cry Together maybe we just have Purple Hearts idk lol.
