Scratchin MambaLike the content doesn't rly hit first of all, there's a lot of bars on here that's just generic anti political correctness sentiment without much substance behind it for example
N95 slaps and it's a banger for sure, but what's the songs purpose rly
Father time and sober i mother are songs that are well executed concept wise, but musically sober i mother is not something i would play for its musical value and father time and father time is great.. but it's not a CLASSIC u feel me

I think the album is incredible. Like this feel like a real piece of art. I love how creative and open and fearless Kenny is, especially for someone at his level. Aināt too many coming like he is. The risks he took with this one just make me appreciate it way more than I anticipated. I know itās too early but I personally have this as his best album right now.

This is a very bittersweet, post depressive album. Even with Kendrickās optimism. Not a lot of song songs on here. Glad he gave us anything at all. Feels like he was spiteful at a lot of events in life/society for a while.
I wasnāt as high on Kenny as some others itt so I donāt see it as a great falloff.

Flaphead š§May 13, 2022dest31white critics overlove him the same way that some of them love going OD hate on harlow. to make it seem like they "down". this is a really, really good album but us as fans/reviewers should try to poke holes on stuff we love too if we find them. not just say it's perfect cause no album is.

Iām not going to sit here and pretend I donāt get uncomfortable hearing a lot of this album, and Iād prefer he went about it a different way. Doesnāt mean itās not a masterpiece just because parts of it arenāt my favorite. Heās not f***ing here to give us what we want lmao, thatās gotta be one of the biggest takeaways from this record and I hope to god most reviewers get that

LotOfMaliceHim having a North American, Europe, and Australia tour run back to back to back is really making me feel this is his last run
Like damn that list is massive
This album would be a great way to go out,heās really giving the listeners all of himself while also not giving two s***s about how the listener feels. Kendrick really is about to be the Gen Z Andre 3K,I feel like people gonna beg him to comeback and he just wonāt.
