OlafHe's being defensive on this record which makes the corniness lame to me instead of the usual flavor of some of his songs. There's definitely spite too, but I wonder why. Feels like a fake shield to avoid dealing with the world and people.

I think the spite is from his perspective. Godly family man whose beefed with his own family. Rich rapper who questions the value of material goods, but watches broker, less successful rappers splurge in that lifestyle away from family. Him trying to find how he wants to spend his time, find his own life, being blessed with free time, but also knowing millions of people discuss him everyday. Pushing him to make music
