What if he releases DAMN in a third order? :)
the cover will be in sepia this time instead of B/W

DAMN backwards is NMAD
which could stand for National Museum of American Diplomacy
aka
Kendrick is saying he isn't gonna be diplomatic to his peers anymore and he's coming for their necks. He's gonna make sure they're history, through his timeless art which belongs in a museum.
NATION dropping Friday confirmed
this album better make me float bro
Was thinking today, Kendrick finally hit the point where even if he drops a solid 9/10 album it still wonāt live up to any expectations people have placed on it, because heās been gone for so long with nothing but a couple feats on Keemās album.. DAMNās 5th anniversary is this year
it's kendrick. he will be championed
what do you guys prefer, an artist who keeps you updated with snippets and information during their album building process, or an artist who stays silent until they're ready to drop? i think there are pros and cons to both approaches, i'd be interested to hear what you think

That's a myth imo. DAMN was very well received despite coming after TPAB is the most highly acclaimed album of the decade. It's very had to follow up TPAB but Kendrick did it.
I think if it's quality music people will acknowledge it.

Stays silent, nothing beats going into an album without any clue of how it'll sound

I think it all depends on the artist, i think Kendrick as an artist being silent fits with his brand and image; it wouldn't make sense for him to be in the limelight and show snippets or reveal the process whereas a guy like Drake going silent wouldn't make as much sense given the brand but I think even Drake would benefit from going off the grid a little bit to let people miss him.
But generally I like when artists just work in the background and come through with a body of work when they are ready, while as a fan it means you gotta practice patience I think you tend to appreciate the music more and it's more of a surprise because you haven't been fed snippets and are going into with no clue on how it will sound.
if he's really gonna do Swimming Pools/Humble as rumored
I mean what other songs would he do.
This is probably a halo reach but
What if everyone and their mommas are dropping albums soon because Kendrick is FINALLY dropping late feb, early march?

Most of them have been teasing their albums for a long time tbh doubt there's anything to do with Kendrick
Most of them aren't even industry artists like that
