yeah it is a trash message, so?
and yall wonder why artists mental health be horrendous
ye still the goat but kendrick is #2
I'm getting the feeling some people think Kendrick is brave for saying he's human and not our savior
If thatâs what you take away from this thatâs sad because the exact opposite of what heâs saying
ok then just explain your opinion
someone asks u what u mean by what u say and u say "u don't already know my opinion? what?"
no, that's why ppl ask
â Unlike Kanye he used Kodak in ties to his album well. He wasnât saying forgive kodak. He knows heâs a pretty terrible person that has done things but heâs just a human. Shows we all sin which is done a lot more masterfully than Kanye.â already did when he quoted that post
the âyou broke a generational curseâ achievement gotta be f***in crazy to hit
I feel like he copied Lupe with the double album thing tbh
yeah lupe invented double albums
Album actually has a few of these
"I really liked the album but the line about him f***ing white women to cuck his dead ancestors was unnecessary"
yooooooooo lmaooooooo
I feel like he copied Lupe with the double album thing tbh
Lupe invented the double album
i think a white person saying the n word is a bit worse than a straight person saying the f word honestly
not even a bit
much much worse
I'm getting the feeling some people think Kendrick is brave for saying he's human and not our savior
I mean is it not for himself specifically? Kendrick HAS been painted as a sort of social savior over the past few years and him coming back to say âI canât save you, you need to save yourselfâ is a bit of a (needed) slap in the face to those people. Definitely not the direction most thought he was taking with this IMO
that seems like it could happen c uz it was a bit more "listenable" and came quickly after TPAB
âI choose me im sorryâ in the face of accepting trauma and lifelong jadedness and your place in the relationships in your life is not really âfuck all this and f*** youâ
i get how he came here, and i think it ultimately stems from his previous naive belief in his own ability to change the world through his messaging and his poor understanding of the issues he was addressing
i just dont like the conclusion he came to here, people on here can disagree but some ride his d*** so hard that some criticism got em mad as shyt im just giving my own opinion lmao
Love the album and get the message but yea the ending really left me feeling like s*** is just gonna get bleaker out here
