If my mother was abused I wouldn’t put it in a song, I hate when rappers like Kendrick or Eminem do that type of s*** of exposing your family trauma
You can be introspective and heartfelt without having to dig that deep, and Drake does that s*** and make it sound amazing like in Too Much, You and the 6
And I think Drake did the all the world has their eyes on me angle much better than Kendrick on this album countless times (time stamp tracks, Do Not Disturb, The Ride, Lose You, etc)
Does this site have bots?
what did i just listen to
Bruh I was on a shrooms trip listening to it last night & We Cry Together sobered me all the way up
Bro pissed me off with that Rocky s*** he wrote today
Most obnoxious writer ever lol
Why listen to him?

and that's why you work at Target and not an artist lmao tf?
Jesus christ
I love the album more than DAMN, but no album is completely perfect. Purple Hearts shouldnt be on this album for example. They d***riding heavier than actual Kendrick stans
Reviewers have 0 credibility in 2022
there’s a difference between that and saying out loud your mother was raped and inventing fake trans relatives
He inventing fake relatives?
I hate using replay value but U is more replay able than We Cry Together lol
We Cry Together is just awkward to bump on an everyday basis lmao
i get what u mean
last song is the best song imo tho
i think there's interesting concepts and ideas scattered throughout the 2nd disc for sure lyrically and musically but overall I just dislike it. it's not trash or anything, it just doesn't feel super interesting to me. first disc is wild though imo, to me it feels like he took what he was trying to do on DAMN and mastered that style

this funny af
so they're literally saying within 24 hours that it's the greatest album of all time....cmon man lol
Who got the renegade on the album
Kodak or Keem
Yak

Nigga I can keep going, especially the songs where he doesn’t paint his pops in a positive light or what he says about women in general lmaoooo
Duh
This album made me realize Kendrick has no knowledge in politics
Politics a whole cesspool and a game anyway so I don't blame him. Most celebrities and rap artist have zero knowledge or very surface level of politics. Hell most ordinary people do as well, they just pretend to be knowledgeable w/o experience and thorough education on the matter like the know wtf they're talking about for clout.
Drakes literally talked about his parents business on multiple tracks.
“My mother is sixty-six and her favorite line to hit me with is
"Who the f*** wants to be seventy and alone?"”
Nigga what lmaooo
Not only that on champagne poetry he goes In depth about familial trauma and having to go to therapy for it to this day.
He doesn’t get credit for his bars or depth because of how good he is at the pop rap s***. It is what it is
