He should move to film on account of how the medium allows other people to be the mouthpiece for a creator's thoughts/feelings/ideas with a stronger sense of "depictions of _ aren't endorsements of those ideas" than you typically find in rap or general music criticism. If you'd like to work out some unwieldy discourse thats been stuck in your head but also don't like being called a savior for doing so, step behind a camera
Would love to see a movie from him and Dave free
Which song we want knxledge to flip off this?
none, knx been trash for eons
Nigga think he batman
Nigga said he gone intervene
Kendrick has the privilege to cheat cuz he rich and famous, if it wasn't for his rap career this squirrel would'vn't been loose like this
my guy invented a new contraction
HELLO CRACKERS
I donāt get the Oprah mention tho. Isnāt she always super safe with what she says?
yea u right im unsure abt that either
maybe just saying he's so successful he can't be "taken down"
he might also just have a fixation on oprah ("the famous n-word controller")
none, knx been trash for eons
Not that thereās a chance in hell Iād agree, Iām curious why you think so
Kendrick sounding like he boutta bust in mr morale
I busted hearing that beat
He not just encouraged it
He created it lol
I donāt think he created it I think it was already in the process of happening
none, knx been trash for eons
boring trash take
try harder
rocky stan but testing ain't better than this fam
Testing blows this out of the water my guy I understand your a Kendrick stan and waited 5 years for this but the album just isn't it lowkey ruined his flawless discog
Seeing people who are fans of Kendrick and LGBT being truly hurt by aunt diaries does hurt though
Like I get the point Kendrick is trying to make but its sad to see people be hurt
kendrick should make every musician wanna step their pen up
Yeah those plus crown and we cry together are my top 5
We cry together is insane
Blew my mind on first listen
If a white artist ironically used the n word like the f word is used in this album. How would yāall feel?
Honestly if a white artist made a song like that in like, 1924 or something I wouldnāt be mad at it
While black people are still dealing with MANY issues, weāve all but won the optics game. Being racist is completely frowned upon now and weāre recognized as what we are. We donāt need a white artist standing up in that particular way for us anymore.
For trans people though, their movement is just getting started. Thereās a growing number of folks who are coming to understand but to this day a large portion of the US doesnāt understand trans people and half wants them dead.
The context matters. I think the measures Kendrick takes in the song can be justified considering that (but I will not police how other people feel about his liberal use of slurs)
Kendrick has the privilege to cheat cuz he rich and famous, if it wasn't for his rap career this squirrel would'vn't been loose like this
would'vn't is crazy
kendrick should make every musician wanna step their pen up

I think Drogas Wave is a better double album than this off first listen, like while this album is cool it doesnt have anything on the level of Manilla, King Nas, Sun God Sam, and Mural Jr.
āconceptually and sonicallyā
āthe sonicsā

Thats gotta be so soul crushing
exactly
cuz you would sound like such a whiny b****, and feel so ungrateful, being like "Uh, thanks for the Best New Music and the GRAMMY and the Pulitzer Prize, but you didn't understand my music at all and actually make it harder for me to actually get my message out"
