Father Time is 10/10 but I kind of wish that some drums came in right when Kendrick does, the lack of them gives me blue balls
the shock of it not being damn or tpab 2.0 has subsided
I'm surprised people weren't already expecting that
Based on the vibe on the thread now compared with this morning, this is definitely growing on people
A grower for sure.
I didn't say much last night because I just felt like I needed to process for awhile lol. It was a heavy first listen. A lot of personal depth and strong topics
Damn youāre right
everything to the beat & topic was right up his alley
thereās a few tracks thatās like that on here where certain features wouldāve made so much sense
The production on this is just
i'm sorry but i gotta say this
i'm halfway through the 2nd listen and I already like this a bit more than DAMN, and I love that album. this feels so f***ing cathartic and relentless, i can't even put into words
How many high profile classic rap albums do we have in the 2020s
I'd say, uh, A Written Testimony... Hmm..
a written testimony
whole lotta red
magic
my turn
meet the woo 2
up 2 me
I'm surprised people weren't already expecting that
not instrumentatively but like
i guess in scale or presentation
this album is a lot more fringe than either of those albums
see yāall at da tour š«”

This album is honestly more like what I was expecting from tpab
aight this was ok now back to real music

People saying Kendrick singing voice improved?
Always been good tbh
the shock of it not being damn or tpab 2.0 has subsided
heās never made the same album twice
1st listen had me like š in the car then when I listened through headphones it changed the whole experience. Definitely a lot to process here. I enjoyed Damn more on my first listen but this is overall better

I wouldn't really call Magic high profile. Gibbs and Danny Brown can sell that much
