Iām still listening to it and donāt really like to jump to conclusions or anything. Not feeling it as much as DAMN. but itās still sooo good. The pianos on the first half are god tier. My favorite song by far is We Cry Together

Songs like "yah" are the type I don't f*** wit. Most of the tracks I don't like here have that same acquired taste feel. Kendrick definitely just made whatever he wanted. The 7 songs I do like seem like they'd fit well on S80 or DAMN.

we cry together is good but yall overhyped it with the eminem/kim comparison. its more like "u" with a couple arguing instead of kendrick in the mirror. I didnt hear much eminem in there
I hear a lil bit of Kim in it but itās definitely an overblown comparison
I think people just wanted it to be a punchline.

This is the first record it feels like Kendrick is speaking directly about everything. It usually feels like heās speaking through parables. It will still be considered ātoo denseā for some people though lmao.
