Alot of this album has uncomfortable moments. Its a dark f***ing bleak album. But there is beauty within the lines.

Honestly I don't think this is his last album. DAMN felt like a TDE goodbye and this feels like his PGLang debut.

So far I think this album might be a classic but I also donāt love it myself if that makes sense
I feel like Iām experiencing art thatās not for me which is fine. I still think itās great so far
I feel like this except I donāt force myself to call something classic that isnāt pleasurable to me. Thatās a failing, not a feature.

Not more clever, different. Theres a certain maturity from this album and its painful self awareness that I don't think Kendrick had reached yet during the inception of TPAB.
You can really see Kendricks progression as a person from Section 80- Mr. Morale if you really read between the lines. He was a "good kid" and now he's a father who's struggling to be the dad his kids need and the rapper we need.
