OD is worth listening to for a handful of songs, and for the musical artifact that it is. I haven’t heard any Kendrick project older than OD in full. I’m curious about them, but I understand it’s not the type of music I care about Kendrick for. Does anybody recommend those old K Dot projects? If so, which one?

I can see this album lacking replay value in the future just based off how heavy it is, but I think there is enough songs here that can be enjoyed seperately like TPAB.

I was disappinted at first listen because I had crazy expectations after 5 years and I expected him to go in the direction of The Heart Part 5 but I'm happy with what we got
The best thing about Kendrick albums is that u can hear growth and this is exactly what we got

I’ll even go as far as to say that TPAB and GKMC are probably objectively better, I just like this vibe a lot

it is hard to compare this with gkmc though because ive been listening to that album since i was in school lmao

I get that C4 is a mixtape so it doesn’t count in the rankings but I would keep C4 over OD every day of the week. C4 is a fantastic mixtape IMO
