So... I guess y'all was right .I've listened to this album several times now. I am officially won over by it's offerings. My first listen was tainted by expectations and personal desire. Guess that was my cold turkey phase. Songs I didn't like before, I like now. I got out of my own way and listened to it on it's own merits. I'm elated to say it's another great project from Kendrick.
It's wild how a day's separation and a change in mindset can breathe new life into an experience. It's almost like I was hearing something different before. S*** wild.

yeah thats the thing you got to let this kind of albums some room to breath.. expectations are way too high for this project after his previous albums.. thats the problem with ye albums too..people want something but always get something different..after a few years suddenly the opinions starts to change
