Kendrick rly is at his best when just talking about his own environment and experiences

When he zooms out he kinda gets lost

It’s a legitimate complaint. If he was more online he might know how played out giving takes on cancel culture, freedom of speech, Battle of the Sexes, etc is. It’s like all these topics have been filtered down to him from the internet though friends and close acquaintances but he’s not online enough to know that his takes aren’t particularly nuanced or unique.

So yeah, the album already suffers from too many “online” topics but it seems pretty painfully clear Kendrick lacks knowledge of the actual conversations surrounding the topics.
