Itās the vibes youāre giving. The r Kelly line is disgusting followed by the trans lines are disgusting, etc. searching for ācancellableā moments is very twitter-esque of you.
They can come off as disgusting, but Iām not saying we should cancel him. Iām just criticizing the albumās flaws
Lmaoo I said these words verbatim yesterday, truth hurt donāt it
Who are you talking to when saying this
If your brain was functioning youād understand that there are things about this album that deserve to be criticized and couldāve been executed better, and saying that doesnāt mean someone didnāt āget the pointā. This is what Cole fans do and this is why people have hated his fanbase for years
You didn't get that point though. You completely missed the point of what he said in the bar you commented on. Which points to you missing all the other points in the album
kendrick confirmed Israelite
out
did you even listen to Yah
Tells me to go get some fresh air while on KTT
If you think me criticizing an album equates to āpeople liking the album bothers meā, then thatās sad and yāall are doing exactly what Kendrick said to stop doing on this album
Go get some fresh air!
Iām taking GKMC, TPAB, and DAMN all over this album
That doesnāt mean itās not a great album though because it is
This album just weights more musically compared to, let's say, GKMC (which to this day is incredible). But you can you tell how much more Kendrick has evolved with this album, a much more insightful and mature Kenny.
who that lightskin dude Tyler had hanging the baby out the window
this album had them tier moments
Crown is slowly but surely becoming a top 3 song
Incredible back to back again
My top 5:
Count Me Out
Father Time
Crown
Die Hard
Rich Spirit
The last 2 way too catchy, most played tracks probably
Or or or u can have ur own opinion and stand on it and not disparage others for having theirs
The context of the usage of the word is clearly irrefutably from a perspective of regret for having not know better, it develops the whole anti-cancel culture theme of the album. Itās more about u needing to be quite stupid to not understand he wasnāt literally insulting his relative on the track. Also the 1st amendment thing was a joke which clearly flew over ur head in a similar way

Haven“t decided on my top 5 yet, but Crown is definitely up there

My only issue with the usage is that it wasn't necessary to repeat it so many times

I did get the point. Nowhere did I misunderstand what heās trying to say. Itās the execution of that idea that was flawed

Idk how you can even form a top 5 yet lol Iām still trying to solidify each track in my head

Nah Iām on the same page as u tbh. Some ppl feel a way, but ion think itās on me to convince em otherwise
waste of nrg
Kendrick is a human with flaws too fyi
It wasn't a flaw in the album the guy just didn't understand the bar

I think he lost a lot of subtlety that existed in his songwriting on those three albums. I understand that mightāve been intentional with the therapy angle, but sometimes on this album it feels like the points being made are being beat over the head
