Young DSaw a lot of disappointment itt yesterday but didnāt have time to listen until today. Gotta say, I have no idea what yāall were smokin
This is Kendrickās 3rd undisputed masterpiece of his career, and already on first listen Iām feeling like this might be my favorite Kendrick album.
Love how refreshing the production is as usual ā the piano driven beats were super beautiful. And especially love the more introspective lyrical direction of this album.
So many standouts itās hard to choose, but Crown and Mother I Sober come to mind initially.

Heāll be back maybe for features and loosies but for a big conceptual album probably not again I think this is his last album and it ends perfectly tbh with the very end of Mother I Sober being

lol like I'm not judging what ppl are into by any means it just feels awkwardly placed in the song...would have liked a Ghost/Kendrick collab to be some harder type s*** rather than a chill/love track but hey that's what he wanted to doGiving off āI donāt want s***with my conscious rap vibesā
