I can't believe people were s***ting on the idea of Pharrell production
Mr Morale
I doubted. I've never been more glad to be humbled. Imma sit down and shut TF up
You just wrote three paragraphs about it. Would you have done the same if he didnāt repeat it so much?
"You wrote two paragraphs about something that happened. Would you have written two paragraphs if it didn't happen?"
Man N95 is so f***ing hard jesus
That one dude in the other thread comparing it to KOD
Dont kill me
I don't get the yeezus comparisons at all, like, I'm so lost
For me itās the abrasive attitude & aggression throughout
also the heavy experimentation
But tbh this album reminds me of a few Ye albums although I wouldnāt say they can be compared directly

Yes, thatās the point. Kendrick got his across.
F*** this album might just end up under TPAB for me.
This where I'm at rn too

Thatās what Iāve been thinking since like my third listen. But itās a lot to take in. His discography is getting harder and harder to rank.

Again, I don't get the experimentation part.
Kendrick has been doing jazz beats since Overly Dedicated.
Radiohead influences I hear, Andre 3000 I hear, but yeezus I'm lost because that sound has already been done before that album.
Drake stans really acting like 325K-350K is a flop
Too bad they canāt argue about musical quality
Bro I just realized who you were lmaooo I was wondering why I havenāt seen you since the album drop lmao

I donāt hear the Yeezus influence. I hear more Danny brown s*** in some of these songs.

Lowkey I think people are saying Yeezus strictly cuz of the Mr Morale s*** lol

Danny Brown is a good example. Yeah I don't hear it either but it's cool
I got a lot of Radiohead vibes on this album, particularly Pyramid Song on Crown and something off King of Limbs on United in Grief

Oh ok. That song specifically. I gotta listen some more but which song on Yeezus would you attribute it to?

United in grief and crown are straight up Radiohead

Only song I could think of is like Black Skinhead with a hint of New Slaves maybe

This where Iām at. Fair to say this is a great addition to his discography but time will tell where it ultimately stands among the others.
