STEPPA PIGMy ex and the person who knew me better than anyone else in the world suggested therapy the last time we spoke around a year ago and I know she was right
I know there's a stigma, but it's honestly extremely healthy if you find a therapist who you can really open up to and be honest with and take it seriously. I was talking to someone at my university when I was lonely/depressed but I wasn't completely honest with her about my d*** use and I felt like my issues were relatively minor because there's 1000s of students and I'm sure some of them were suicidal and dealing with worse s*** than I was
Itās beautiful that you were able to come to the realization that you need to accept the help thatās one of the biggest struggles dawg honestly especially that time in between where thereās so much room for contemplation and denial
Being in a environment of hurt people with coping mechanisms that furthers that pain in a way where you could live with it feels normalized. We underestimate connection with others who arenāt familiar especially when youāve only had one perspective for so long s*** hurts I feel you on all of that
