Truth time:

I hate that saying this album is better than another album makes it seems like we are downgrading that album but this isn’t what I’m saying.

There is something that this album gives me that no other kendrick album has and it’s hard to ignore that aspect of loving music. So I will say this without sounding like I’m jumping out the window or relying on recency bias.

I’m not saying this is Kendrick’s best album but I feel comfortable saying, that no Kendrick album is better than this one. Same level? Maybe. But better? I’m not comfortable saying that at this moment.

The staccato piano in the background of N95 is so good

It’s really crazy seeing how Shaolin Temple leak became vent/N95 too. We got the best outcome

The keys sprinkled throughout the album are a nice touch.

Nah DAMN is great. But this album blows it out of the water.

It executes the balancing act of slower s*** and more upbeat s*** better then DAMN imo.

His worst project is OD and thats still a 7/10
