It was good not great, its impact is just because drake made it it didnt perform extraordinarily well or anything its one of his least impactful projects, what did it influence? And not really any longevity, no song from it is one of his top streaming songs now, is any more life songs even in high demand for his live setlist now?

Come to think of it 2017 was one of the few years Drake didn’t completely dominate on a commercial level last decade

Cuz Kendrick took over. You couldn’t escape him.

I think it played a role in the decentralization of modern rap and I think it paved the way for the mainstream acceptance of uk rap and rnb. Not saying that s*** wasn’t accepted but it always felt like people saw uk music differently before and after more life

I’d say true Drake definitely helped with the UK crossing over the US, and More Life was his most Uk inspired project but its not like any of these UK artist Drake was helping really made a super splash here besides maybe Skepta who was already hot before More Life came out. So even that doesn’t make it a classic. You can like something or say something is incredible without being a classic bc honestly of thats a classic then the word classic doesnt even matter

yea ofc there are albums I think are incredible but I wouldn’t call a classic but I genuinely think more life is a classic I think it’s a defining album of the streaming era
