with the title hope it's so different and unexpected like a Love Below, Awaken my Love but still a rap album at it's DNA

I can only imagine how many albums Kendrick made during the recording sessions for this album. He probably made 3-4 albums worth of material.

Hope we get the best one.

Although I’m sure he doesn’t drink/smoke much, damn sounded pretty sober (not in a bad way)

If it was garbage because he tried to make an album that was in a different direction than it'd be a bummer, but I could live with it.
