Decided to sit with this album for awhile before posting any of my reactions. This album didn’t click with me sonically first listen and it made me miss a good amount of the lyrics. After I started listening a few more times it made me realize this album is probably some of Kendrick’s best work involving vulnerability. Now the songs are starting to click with me sonically. Kendrick really gave us an amazing album. I feel like some people had expectation set so high that it was impossible to meet. Just let the music breathe
