I agree even tho the album is amazing. The Heart part 5 showcases his lyricism much better than any song on the album.

Crazy how Kendrick talks about how he hopes his daughter isn't born with a piece of his heartbreak here and this song becomes Mother I Sober, which is him ending his generational trauma.

Like that one review said, I forget which one but essentially he sacrificed the “this is real rap!” crowd by showcasing all the “negative” aspects of his life and mindset while also calling those types of people out their name by having Kodak throughout and the common theme of “I’m not your savior”

The interludes on this album didn’t need to be on it. They take away from the experience, IMO.
