providerI don't really do scores for albums but determining what I think is a 10 is fun.
I think Kendrick has one 10 with TPAB. And a top 3 if not album of last decade.
I think Ye has one unanimous 10 with MBDTF, and one personal 10 with 808s which is my favorite. I wouldn't be mad at anyone calling 808s or Yeezus a 10, they're very close.
Having more than one 10/10 is so tough. I think time is a big factor though, in both ways. It might take some time to recognize or have an album grow into a 10, or it can lose its status. GKMC might've been a 10 back in 2012 for me but no way would it be if it dropped today.

off top I got To Pimp a Butterfly, Blonde, and A Seat at the Table in the last 10 years. I could come up with a few more if I thought about it. Maybe Melodrama. Maybe Yeezus. NFR!

May 17, 2022This gets better with each listen, unpacking all the meaning and topics delivered. Sonically its very cohesive and feels like it's own universe. So far I might be putting this a little bit ahead of DAMN.

I donât like the production on a lot of tracks, feels very empty. And Kendrick sounds all over the place on this album, sounds like he didnât know what sound to go for.

he is always pretty over the place IMO he keeps us on our toes and never gets repetitive
Damn i love the production. pretty varied when it comes to drums, strings, and horns. not for everybody though for sure

and Voodoo is like top 1 album of all time to me. So yeah, maybe Black Messiah is a 10 and Voodoo is a 20. HahahaI do think I like Sugah Daddy just a BIT less than the other tracks on there though.

Are you into his discography any much? I couldâve typed the exact same thing about DAMN a while ago, but this album just clicked for me instantly which makes me want to revisit DAMN and give it a more thorough listen
