I wonder what the reaction to this would've been if it had been released separately

Seriously when was the last time people gave a f*** about an album after like 3 weeks

People still listen, but what's worth talking about if not for a few days alone. People don't talk about non confrontational music further than to say whether it's good or bad once the message is decoded. Why do people need to

Just enjoy it, if it feels good, listen more. If you find something better, listen to that. There is no forever song, but all songs can be heard

That's why I still love keeping my own local files. A lot of great s*** can get away from you simply cause it's not in your face all the time. I stream for new releases and when I'm just running thru catalogs, but my everyday listens stay stored in my library.

Is the album as quiet on other streaming services as on Spotify? Not mad at it being quieter than most music getting released just wondering

I find Spotify to have lower levels in general. I can play the same album in my iTunes with no presets or anything and it's louder.

A lot of album do sound way quieter and a bit weaker too on Spotify, maybe it has to do with the quality of the sound there?

    damn really?

I'd argue he's got like 3 tbh. Highway 61 Revisited, Blonde on Blonde, and Blood on the Tracks

Add Nashville Skyline and John Wesley Harding to his list of perfect albums.

Spotify has the worst audio quality of any service. I just use it just to make playlists, but Apple Music for listening.

i tell this to everyone: start with Purple Rain. pretty obvious choice, but it's a classic for a reason

work your backwards and forwards and see what you enjoy most. his discography is intimidating, but it's worth it i promise
