Lets just say... Disc 3 so soon š
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers & Pitchforks 7.6/10
Iāve made peace with the idea that Mr. Morale might be his curtain call but I donāt want him to ever retire. Heās one of the few artists i feel like that could make albums for years to come that dabble in different sub genres.
I doubt it. pgLang is just getting started, they need him to continue on for a little while longer.
Hard to say what a solo album for him looks like after this. He's backed himself into a corner where every album has to be this conceptual masterpiece, which requires a lot of intricate content-weaving.
But a pgLang compilation tape or a collab tape with Keem would allow him to get outside of that pressure and just have some fun with it, so I'd love to see something like that.
Crown clicked for me today , great song
Purple hearts and mirror are the only songs left that i dont like , i can see myself vibe to purple hearts on some occasions but mirror might just be a trash song
Damn I love Mirror.
Production sounds like an unused GMKC-era beat
At this point moving forward, Iām just going to lower my expectations for him. Iām sure heāll always put good music out but I wonāt expect MM&TBS quality every time because thatās unrealistic.
You said I'd feel better if I just worked hard,
without liftin' my head up,
That left me fed up
I'll still risk it all for a stranger
S***addiction is a b****
People were so quick to say Kendrick dropped his first dud and yet so many people been saying the album grew on them
Can I open up is it safe or not
Iām afraid a little, you relate or not
Have faith a little, I might take my time

someone plz hook me up with this
Do you not have any streaming services or access to YouTube?
Kendrick scrapped the LMFAO collab after I gave KTT the exclusive leak, and instead recorded the album we got almost entirely in the days after my post. He had Kodak re-record the LMFAO narration, and reworked āstill sorry (for Party Rocking)ā into Mirror
The scene he filmed on the beach for the N95 video originally was for NPRA (New Party Rock Anthem). He was Party Rock Jesus in the original video. He was going to start walking on water, then start shuffling on the water when it went into the instrumental break. The sea splits open and LMFAO is shuffling inside the parted sea
The tap dancing skits were originally shuffling skits
Would have gotten a strong 8.6 on Pitchfork at least.
Wow, being a weirdo doing a weirdo rollout on some weirdo website with nothing on it but letters from your weirdo company that nobody even knows what they even do resulted in lower numbers, shocker
Also does anyone hear section 80 delivery creeping out at the end of mother I sober when he raises his voice
