Just cut the card up lol. Or once you get the presale. Cancel the card. Lol

wait its a actual physical card?

    thought it was virtual lol

  • May 17, 2022

Idk how I’m just noticing those three singing intros with the same melody are all saying different things lol

Actually only 2 are intros, last one is an outro

Intro of Untitled In Grief (beginning of album)

Intro of Count Me Out (middle of album)

Then again as the outro for Mother I Sober (End of the album)

Another dope piece of this album that sort of ties everything together

been thinking a lot about Worldwide Steppers

I think Black men’s first romantic or sexual experience with white women often coincides with some other new, often favorable experience in life. Think, attending a high level university. Think, becoming a high earner financially.

In Kendrick’s case, it coincides with his first time ‘being out of the hood’ and he describes himself as ‘happy’ atm.

Psychologically, such a happy experience being tied with your first time having s***with a white girl creates a false relation in your brain subconsciously.

When Kendrick goes on, presumably, his own first big tour, he has s***with a white woman again. He also notes, in a hilarious half-bar, ‘I flourished on them stages.’ The false relation has consumed him by now. The moment that as an adult he feels as ‘happy’ and free as he did back then as a kid, he also must duplicate s***with a white woman, as a subconscious drive. He associates s***with white women with ‘happiness’ and ‘flourishing.’ Again, subconsciously. That’s what the therapy is for.

Of course, imo, we’re all free to f*** or have serious relationships with whomever we please. And many, many interracial relationships are just that, two people in love. BUT this is such a great record bc he’s strictly critical of himself and it provides a framework for many other Black men (and women possibly) to be critical of their own dalliances, relationships or whatever with WW or WM, without in the least bit shaming anyone or making widespread judgments.

TLDR; Kendrick is a genius and Worldwide Steppers is a critical a***ysis of one’s self that can be applied to almost anyone who doesn’t understand the root of their own behaviors.

That’s not what I got out of it.

I think that kendrick confessing to sexual assault.

So here is how my theory goes:

    1. Kendrick featured Kodak, a confessed rapist. Kodak is basically a regular part of the stories narrative.

    2. On worldwide steppers Kendrick talks about the first time he slept with a white b****. He specifically slept with her because her daddy locked up his uncle. He even said ancestors watched him do it and seen it as “retaliation”. Ancestors is interesting because he mentions them again on mother I sober saying “they raped our ancestors and made us rape ourselves” so why would his ancestors see him having s***with this white girl as retaliation and not betrayal UNLESS it was not consensual. Even ending that part of the story with “she paid her daddy’s sin” as if the s***was punishment.

    3. In this same story kendrick talks about sleeping with this woman when he “traveled with the team” likely with his school sports team out of town to a whiter area. Now can you think of someone accused of rape whist traveling with the team? Kobe. Kobe was also in the hpt5, one of the things said was “same views made schools change curriculum but didn’t stop me staring down the barrel of a gun.” Kobe face goes back to kendrick just as he says the last part. Now the barrel of a gun is LITERALLY for nipsey as he was assassinated, but FIGURATIVELY what if he meant it about Kobe. Where even if Kobe was cleared of the crime even in death they ASSASSINATE Kobes character he did so much good in the world but some will always judge him off one thing. Maybe something kendrick can relate to?

    4. Kendrick was an active gang member. He is no stranger to telling us about his killings Section 80 - po mams dream “as a kid I killed two adults” GKMC - Maad city “if I told you I killed a nigga at 16 would you believe me?” TPAB “why did I weep when travon was in the streets when gang banging made me kill a nigga blacker than me?”
It is pretty clear kendrick was very actively involved in the killing of gang activities, you know something else gangs do? Sexual assaults. Gangs often use rape as a humiliation ritual. Often rape an opposing gang members sister, girlfriend, cousin etc. likely the reason kendricks mom was also rapped and beaten on mother I sober. Kendrick did say his parents moved from Chicago because of gang violence. I am pretty sure a rape can also be a huge reason to leave a city. But why do I mention this?
Because kendrick very likely engaged in the rape ritual himself as he tells us on these walls. We know he is sleeping with the baby mother of an opposing gang member who killed his friend. But again what if it wasn’t consensual. He says “it’s still amazing BEFORE they couldn’t stand me” does that mean she was coerced? Or was it forced entry? He clearly mentioned there was resistance of some sort.

    5. Lastly, mother I sober is kendrick realising he has lust addiction due to witnessing his mothers rape. I understand it is such a complex thing but could that pain and anger and resentment maybe have caused him to force such an act on people? He calls it lust addiction and I’m sure kendrick gets plenty women throwing themselves at him but we know how problematic a males mindset on viewing women as s***objects can be. Especially when they have power, and with kendricks trauma maybe he put women through the same pain as his mother? This is a weaker point and I am far from a Psychologist
Bu with kendricks main message being hurt people hurt people, is he the individual that’s hurt and is inflicting the SAME HURT to others?

Conclusion. I’m Just trying to pull some strings together , do you think this theory has legs? Kendricks faces on the heart pt5 have shown they’re faults one way or another. And kendrick saying I am all of us means maybe he has committed acts that each of them have committed or been accused of. Kodak is likely a figure that has committed EVERY SINGLE SIN you can probably think of. Even probably slept with an under age bad bhabie, even said he is waiting for Lauren London to stop grieving for nipsey so he can smash. Nip being someone kendrick really valued, so why would kendrick want this guy anywhere near this album? Because Kendrick once he looked in the mirror is no f***ing different to Kodak. Kodak even starts the song Mirror saying I chose me. KODAK IS KENDRICK. Kendrick sees Kodak when he looks in the mirror.

Kendrick sees Kodak when he looks in the mirror.

yeah I can’t go this far with you BUT I do think that looking at Kendrick’s history
he defended MJ. he loves Kobe (like all of LA tbc). he stans Tupac. and now he’s featured Kodak throughout his most personal album.

I think he does see the relation between all of those men. we should too. and I think Kendrick, similar to Ye, doesn’t believe in just throwing men away, EVEN IF THEY DID COMMIT RAPE. (would Tupac have survived the #MeToo movement if alive? hell no)

while Ye leans more on religion for his argument, for Kendrick it has more to do with his belief that so many Black men are suffering from generational trauma and likely need therapy, not cancellation or shaming.
