i really enjoyed this album but i haven’t felt the urge to return to it the past few days

i think tonight i’m going to give it another in-depth listen on my studio monitors (with genius open + a notepad of course) + try to really formulate an opinion

like i said i do like it, but i still feel like it hasn’t.. “clicked” for me? not even sure that’s the right word but i can’t really articulate the thoughts i do have on it

i understand it’s an intentionally difficult listen, but I’m still struggling to completely retain + process the things that it makes me feel + think about

My reaction to We Cry Together is probably all wrong, but that s*** goes and makes me laugh I've been in my share of toxic ass arguments and it's just so accurate. When he starts rambling about bullshit like it's life sxn in that last verse just to keep the argument going and she's like wtf are you talking about lmao
