Kendrick seemed lost on tpab and damn, I tuned out of him for those years which I'm aware was his peak for many people here, certainly not for me. It feels like he really found himself on this album and comes off a lot more mature. Eckhart blessed.

Just felt like there was less conviction on those albums. On tpab it was like he was giving his audience what they want and on Mr. Morale he's giving them what he needs. Also I meant it’d be cool to fast forward to his next release not that I need it tonight. Coolest thing about artists from decades past is their discographies are done, you get to experience their work as a whole if you want. The thread about the Heart V being added to the album is obviously full of haters that just want to clown Kendrick, but I think there is still a rational and unbiased discussion that can be had about it.

I think it could have been integrated better because just a single song on what's labeled "disc 3" looks tacky and makes the whole album lose its cohesiveness, especially after Mirror which was the perfect album closer.

I don't understand the lack of bangers argument either. N95, count me out, silent hill, mr morale, savior, rich spirit are all immaculate in the whip.
