Any DawnFM listeners in here? Lmao all the slander on here towards this album and DawnFM make me wanna check that album out too lmao
Mr morale and Dawn fm hold the #1 and #2 spot in the AOTY thread on ktt
Dawn is also amazing. It's literally the Drake stans hating on these 2 albums cause the artists had a feud, and since both albums dont perform sales wise as well as their predecessors they feel empowered to go all out
It’s like 6 AM where I’m at and somebody is BLASTING Purple Hearts wtf lmaooo
You end up checking it out?
Yea imma post my thoughts in that thread. If anyone sees this and wants to be tagged in my review lmk
Professor Skye LIONED

I know this is probably old news at this point, but VENT V2 just came on shuffle and I was like
when I heard the N95 verse
Features could have been 1000x better smfh. Sucks because he left a lot on the table with this last TDE album
On a flight right now and listened to this album back to back. Made me reflect on my life. Reflect on moments in life, mistakes in pasts, suppressed emotions. Things and people I lost.
Thank you Kendrick for making music for the soul.
said it already but this is the part that turns Mr Morale from a 10/10 track to a 8/10 track and I wish I was feeling it:
Don't need no conversation
If it ain't 'bout the business, shut the door now
B****, it's a celebration
And if this s*** ain't bussin', what's it for now?
Steppin' out when the weight lifts
Floatin' on 'em (Ooh-ooh-ooh, da-da)
Floatin' on 'em (Float, float, ooh-ooh-ooh, da-da)
Floatin' on 'em (Float, float, ooh-ooh-ooh, da-da)

I agree. f*** that part. standard pharell type s*** that could've been on any artists album to be honest. what sets kendrick's music apart from everyone is how unique how songs are. this chorus specifically was not. also don't know what "floatin on em" has to do with what he says in the verses.

For me it’s the “hyyyydrate, we need to heal” part, I really like the song but I hate the delivery on that line
