This album isn’t perfect, but it’s far from a miss or an L. Easily one of the best albums so far this year.

As great as this album is, I’ve found myself that I have to be in a specific mood to play it for some reason

Like there’s only a handful I can just casually throw on if that makes sense

Rollout was WOAT for this album. No effort.

Very garbage rollout, didn’t even use the oklama website for nothing either lol.

He could have legit made a Netflix film out of this album and rolled it out that way, dropped N95 months ago to build hype, used the website to be more interactive, etc.

It’s like they just wanted to get out of the label bullshit and gave as little thought to this rollout as possible.

There were rumors for a while the drama between them was part of the delay

while the album is focused on topics of today for some reason it sounds dated. i can't explain it well at all but i just hope someone understands.

A good portion of it was made 2+ years ago. I can hear some parts where that comes through, but it still sounds fresh to me.

I’m sure someone pointed this out already but y’all notice how when he starts talking about his daughter Uzzi he starts rapping in uzi’s “you better move” flow? Not my favorite song tbh but pretty dope moment

Yeah, I love Kendrick, but this whole album release has been very underwhelming. The album's pretty good at least.

I mean, no. He dealt with much more polarizing subject matter on this one, it’s the type of record that would put predominantly (liberal) white critics in a hard spot

Album has the highest user rating of any of his albums. Pretty interesting.
