I thought that was pretty loud on the album tbh. Part of the reason why he wanted to become the goat and why he worked so hard was to cover up what he was feeling inside. Now that he's unpacking all that I'm sure the desire is way less than it was

Its an amazing album a lot of people are gonna come around to it in the next year

Yea bro cuz honestly my current thoughts are the album is aight I just wish songs like Die Hard, Purple Hearts, Silent Hill, are auto skips for me

Die Hard is a great track to me, I think the 2nd verse especially has a great sentiment and I love silent hill the hook and kodak verse is fire

Purple Hearts is my least fav on the album

S*** like United In Grief, Worldwide Steppers, Mother I Sober, Father Time, Crown, Savior pushes the album past aight territory for me

Rich interlude should of followed worldwide steppers on the album. Die hard just doesn't feel right after how crazy that song was

I like die hard after worldwide steppers just because it shows how crazy of a range kendrick has a writer

No he just doesn't want to make music for the purpose of feeding his own ego and proving to people that he's "the best" (like Eminem for example) he wants to make music to impact people
Dropping Family Ties before this was definitely purposeful
He's still gonna do s*** to the best of his ability but it's a different approach than what you get from 99% of the rappers
I guess that's just because of him having kids and wanting to leave a better world for them but who knows how he's gonna think a couple years from now

This album gonna be praised like crazy. Give it a couple years.
