I didn’t like it on first listen because I thought It was radio bait (little did I know he wouldn’t push it…)

But I love it now, super simple and emotionally powerful lyrics with a great melody

worldwide steppers my most played song from the album. i can see how it’s off putting for most people but i grew up on madlib and dilla and s*** so it’s right up my alley

Wouldn’t mind an album full of those types of songs to be honest. Or at least songs with that style of instrumentation.

i said it before itt but kendricks breath control is insane. guy always raps every single line even when jumping, running or w/e in his performances
