The sound of the album really has me curious. Is it going to be more Reggae influenced or Funk/jazz influenced like TPAB? One things for sure this won’t be DAMN part 2.

Really curious about how his voice will sound too. I know his voice got noticeably higher pitched between TPAB-DAMN, so will he try to use a deeper register on this LP or will continue to use a higher pitched voice?

I’ve really missed Kendrick man. We honestly were spoiled getting TPAB-UU-DAMN-BP OST in a 4 year span. I’m glad he took a much deserved break though. That has me confident his album will be incredible.

Just listened to DAMN. Havent listened to it probably since the year it came out. Even forgot about some songs like Feel. Overall i'd say it has some of Kendricks best material (DNA, Element, Fear, XXX) but also some of his worst (Yah, Feel, God). Overall a really good album tho. Just fell short of GKMC and TPAB and that’s why i was probably disappointed in 2017.

Black Panther to now was 4 years, which isn't exactly a short wait, but I've waited longer
