Might be the best rap song of the 2010s no funny s***
The ending of this song is so good
tpab means so much to me i be wanting to fight niggas for talking s*** about it man
Same but I do realize the sound of it is just up my alley. Always loved that jazzy s***. Tbh it’s the production that gets in the way for most.

This or Momma is my favorite off TPAB

On that topic idk why TPAB is generalized for its jazz inclusion. Most of that album has a G-Funk/neosoul sound. Like 3-4 out of the 16 songs can be classified as being jazz and they’re not even singles
Not a Kendrick stan in the slightest but that always felt like mfs using the slightest “uncool” thing that was present (ie jazz) to pin on Kendrick for whatever resentment they had for him being hailed as the rap savior lol

People hear saxophones and it's automatically jazz basically lol. To be fair tho most of the musicians that played on the album are jazz musicians. They always play random songs from it in their sets and especially when they play together

3-4 is a stretch even. The people calling it "jazz" haven't ever heard a jazz album in their lives.
Underrated / under appreciated among Kendrick’s hardcore fanbase, don’t @ me
