There's a massive difference between what we personally and subejctively enjoy more and what is better/worse.

What makes TPAB objectively better?

I think the interview is good, the only part i dont like is the final part where kendrick reads the second poem about the caterpillar and butterfly and incorporates a bunch of his song titles. the main poem of the album is great but the second poem is kinda extra and awkwardly uses key phrases like mad city and institutionalized and these walls. it explains the butterfly metaphor but does so in a clunky way. just wish he would have ended the pac interview a different way, idk.

Already surrounded by this mad city the caterpillar
Goes to work on the cocoon which institutionalizes him
He can no longer see past his own thoughts
He's trapped
When trapped inside these walls certain ideas take roots,
Such as going home, and bringing back new concepts to this mad city
How does this sound clunky? The song titles are basic phrases, so it doesnāt take anything away from the story telling. Itās not like he incorporated a title like backseat freestyle in this

fair enough, maybe it's just me. it's kinda like when you hear the name of the movie in the dialogue in the movie, it sounds unnatural even if it isn't.
but it's also just like.... it's not as good as the other poem IMO, in terms of how well it's written. and it's similar in what it's saying. the main poem is personal, told from kendrick's perspective/experience. the second poem is saying a lot of the same stuff, but it's non-personal and it focuses on the caterpillar metaphor. the inclusion of the second poem, closing out an album that is already told through a different poem, feels unnecessary and awkward to me.
this is a nitpick though and I don't hate it.
U2 was on it
That was a sample
