It's funny back then GKMC was my fav but as years went by DAMN and TPAB started growing on me lol. GKMC just pales in comparison musically and didn't age as well, plus the skits kinda ruin the replay value for me

I'm not using charts to validate anything. I'm saying you can't say the album that people are playing the most from someone's discography has aged poorly. That's stupid. When it's literally been charting because it's being streamed weekly.

At end of the day I'm just trying to have a civil discussion here, if you get mad over someones opinion (unless its absurd like you said) then seek help. It's always good to understand one's perspective esp if it differs from yours

I was thinking about this the other day. I feel like for at least part of TDE, they've been kind of lost and directionless the last few years because of Kendricks impeding departure. It feels like he was the natural leader and they took inspiration and direction from GKMC, TPAB, and DAMN. Q especially.

I wouldn't say lost. I think it's just that for most of them the hunger isn't what it used to be. Q got a big house and takes his daughter to soccer practice and plays golf, soul be ducked off, and rock got his successful album. They all pretty much accomplished what they wanted and just make music for fun and put s*** out when they feel like it. At least that's how I see it. Niggas don't wanna rap forever

Seeing the TDE camp, Dreamville and other artists just come together and support him unconditionally was touching imo. I know Zay must've been terrified of the reaction and to see so many of his fellow peers stand with him was really beautiful.
