’Gangs of London’
Season 1
Created by Gareth Evans
One of the absolute best action/crime series I’ve ever seen, with some of the most well-choreographed & creative fight scenes in the history of television. The 5th episode in particular is a massive highlight & an easy tv episode of the year contender, a mini-sized action movie that for the most part can stand on its own.
The plot can get a bit too convoluted sometimes, with too many things going on at once, but at its core this show is a compelling family drama with interesting characters all throughout, a modern-day Shakespearean tale told through the lens of crime & violence. The show’s highlight performances are from Joe Cole, Sope Dirisu, Lucian Msamati, Narges Rashidi, Paapa Essiedu, & Michelle Fairley.
Highly recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of Gareth Evans’ work in film or to anyone who loves when action scenes & fight scenes are treated like they belong in an art museum.
Rating: 8/10

It's not a binge show. Every episode throughout the entire series is pretty self contained, the large seasonal arcs mostly take place in the background.
IMO it's the greatest show ever made but if you're not digging it a few episodes in I can't imagine you'll enjoy going much further.
