    internet buddy

Jon Stewart and The VU doc are great

This is a late reply but i forgot to add that we also watched Schmigadoon before Ted Lasso.

It was just okay. The "omg old values are so different than contemporary ones" schtick got overbearing very quick. The show seemed like it could have been more interesting, but it was a victim of lazy and tired writing.

But the show was watchable. Nothing really made me laugh, but I can think of worse thing to watch to pass the time.

Key is good in it, but he's generally pretty good in everything I see him in. Surprisingly, Cecily Strong didn't annoy the s*** out of me like she always has. The various scenes where she gets to show a range of emotions and reflections were nice and a refreshing side of her. Although a lot of the time she was playing the same personality she's been playing on SNL for years, but at least it was all like that.

Key was in an adaption of Hamlet a few years back and he should do serious stuff like that more

Imma take it you haven't watched season 5 yet.

Season 3 was on autopilot imo but
Season 4 has a memorable villain tho

    "Lincoln, I'm only 27. What am I? A child bride?" - Ilana

    I feel dat.

After binging Broad City for the past few days I can say the later seasons were overrhated. I'm on the last season right now. Some cringy moments here or there but in general it still has some hilarious ass moments and punchline.

It feels more relevant today too.
