@Keepthereceipt no album with a song like this deserves to be go under the radar
I was shocked by how good the Jim Jones album was. It might have been the best album of that year
i honestly didn't think the beats were as bad as they said lol he spazzed on every song too
what i enjoy about that album is that snoop felt like he had to prove to his son (who had cassidy as his #1 rapper) that he could still do his thing. that's why he set the album off with a "lyrical" track (by snoop's standards, at least)
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHDtWfLi2Y0Fr he came like he had something to prove on this album, easily his second best since Doggystyle (Tha Last Meal gotta be #2 though)
Unfortunately not and wasn’t that critically acclaimed but it’s always been one of my fav roots albums ever
Weird remember seeing and hearing it everywhere
Granted I was going to school in South Jersey just 30mins from Philly when it dropped so that probably had something to do with it lol

not ignored, but i feel it slipped under the radar more than it should have
one of the greatest albums ever made

he was inspired and you can hear it in the music. the only songs I disliked were the song about his football team and that stupid ass song with jamie foxx.
