I genuinely feel most late career albums are written off, when in reality they’re either just as good as the “classics” or damn near close.

I see this with plenty of artists; U2, Bruce Springsteen, Kanye, Kid Cudi

Most fans will consistently compare their new albums to their “classics,” when in reality, these new albums just need to be taken in with a clean slate & no comparisons.

U2’s 2000 All You Can’t Leave Behind
Bruce’s 2019 Western Stars
Cudi’s 2024 INSANO
Ye’s 2021 Donda

We can even add Nas & Jay late career albums here too.
