A fact is a thing that is known to be consistent with objective reality and can be proven to be true with evidence. Further, "Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States." and "Kanye birthed Drake and The Weeknd." are also both facts, of history. I guess Taylor Swift's 1989 inspired Sza and other r&b songstress then. Kanye wasn't the first rapper to sing. 50, Ja Rule,Andre 3000,etc. did it first.

Idk about him BIRTHING The Weeknd but he's had an influence on his early sound for sure.

Drake on the other hand was obviously birthed by Kanye and he's admitted this as recently as December 2019

Give the credit to R/B artists like Aaliyah, Jodeci, Genuwine etc
