My bro! 🤞
Literally in less than a week// next Wednesday
Before y’all ask who/how/why etc.
I’m not going to school and that bothered me a lot and in high school I thought about it. HOWEVER I kinda fell into college and it was dope. But then I moved and had to do outta state tuition and deal with my crazy ass parents
In dealing with them someone once told me when they joined all they had on their mind was “I just want to leave” and that’s exactly what I wanted/still want to do... is be away from them BUT in corona times it’s hard so without school I thought military would work once again
Technically joined in July I think but I’m actually leaving to go next week
This will be my update thread too if you care
Update b****es
Officially a sailor
Where you gonna end up at? Hopefully not a ship that's in repair in a shipyard

Reading through first and second pages... why not Air Force op???
In the navy you’re always by a coast and I like that
will never understand why people still willingly do this
Try being poor and out of options in the USA

Ty
I’m just saying that’s what some people come down to
Save your money and make use of your GI Bill when you get out unless you want to make the military your career. And don't expect any significant other to be loyal to you (whether they're in service as well or civilians) This is what I've been told from ex-military men

I’m sure you answered these but how long is basic training? Will you have a break before your first tour? Will you be able to use the Internet there?
