Maybe I am showing my age, but...
Growing up in Atlanta we never heard about these growing up.
UNTIL Childish Gambino's show came around now everybody says they love them, theyre popular and so on. Am I the only one? Now i see them at wingstop.
i like the ones at wingstop
dont fw wingstop too much but their Louisiana Rub is some fire too
Even though this scene caused J.R. Cricket’s to blow up, the irony is that this was not one of their menu items at the time, based instead on a menu item from the American Deli chain. As Stephen Glover, Donald’s brother and co-writer told the AJC, “We just thought it would be funny to see somebody get hooked up at J.R. Crickets by getting that option that isn’t even really available.” After the scene, however, owner Paul Juliano decided to add them to the menu full time under the Lemon Pepper Wet moniker.
When we moved to Texas (San Antonio area, famous for their food and of course wings) by 2005 maybe was the first time I saw a menu item described as "lemon pepper wet".
But this was as the hood spot, not wingstop...
Never had them wet, didn’t know they weren’t exclusively a dry rub until last year
Gonna also add lemon pepper wings are a little overrated

Ive definitely had them "wet", haha. But theyre a dry rub usually
I'm so f***nig glad you've brought this up.
I lived all over the place in Atlanta, Metro Atlanta, OTP, ITP
Lemon pepper wet isn't a thing. The quintessential Atlanta order is 10 PC Hot/Lemon pepper more recently places have started putting the lemon pepper seasoning over the counter. The wet thing is from the hot sauce.

just had some wings from there a couple days ago
no mom and pop local joints so this and BWW is all I got
i’m not hatin though
i like the ones at wingstop
They have wet ones in sauce at wingstop now?? I gotta try em if so even tho I don’t really like wingstop like that just don’t know anywhere that does
For some reason, when I saw the episode initially I thought the "wet" was like...strawberry or some s*** like that
Can't really explain why, mind just went there
can’t imagine living outside Buffalo and having to resort to chains like wingstop for wings
Y’all gotta start going to some real ass wing spots man and not overrated ass Wingstop & jr crickets. If you in ATL Hit up The Local off ponce thank me later
