I’ll always be more of a Drake fan than Kendrick fan, but objectively Kendrick is in conversations that Drake can no longer be a part of. I don’t think anything he’s (Drake) accomplished up this point should be retroactively looked at because he accomplished a lot and will forever be a part of hip hop history, but Kendrick is on a very short list of GOAT consideration based on a plethora of factors

You still have Drake top 10/15 DOA or has this year changed that? I know it is slowly changing it for me, and like you said I will always enjoy him more than Kenny but damn.

It’s all subjective but for me yes pretty easily in fact. We’re discussing things that are happening 15 years after his mainstream arrival. He’s been solidified but obviously everything that’s transpired in addition to the other two major knocks (ghost-writing and the Pusha beef) just put him down out of contention for THE best, but he is absolutely integral to the story of hip hop over the past century. Kendrick said he strangled him a GOAT. I’m taking his word for it
