It's going to come down to what you value, I think - consistent greatness or pioneering all-time classics. Kanye's ceiling is higher because he brought something brand new to rap, but his floor is really low.

At the rate the two of them are going, Kanye's discography is going to be a rich man's Eminem 15 years from now, with a lot of garbage making you want to forget how great he was. Meanwhile, I'm not sure it's possible for Kendrick to make a less than well-received album.
