If you read the s*** you'd know that bruh don't live in LA he lives in Brooklyn in a s***ty apartment and that most of his money goes to taxes and representative fees.
Also I made this point earlier when debating with the other nigga but streaming f***ed up residual fees they get paid at a lower rate.
Now factor in with how Netflix and HBOMax and Hulu been canceling all these shows at random and you'll get the bigger picture

Are you factoring in that the original treatment will probably get you over a little paid and that you can absolutely not be hired again for rewrites?
A nigga can sell a script to Netflic whoever make they little bread, they can take it, do whatever they see fit and not hire you again.
Then your screenwriting agent takes 10%, Your manager takes 10%, your lawyer wants 5%, and then paying Uncle Sam.
That's not even factoring in the cost of living in LA itself, its not like niggas just sell scripts to Netflix and get rich
