Nah, Em’s legacy is solidified. He dropped Encore nearly 20 years ago, and that asinine album couldn’t kill his career, nor could the 0/10 Revival.

I agree that his legacy is solidified, I just hope he can proves the doubters wrong and drop a late career commercial and critical classic like Hov' did. He didn't need 4:44 but it was great to see the man return to a form that he hadn't shown since perhaps the Black Album

It's simple. The music isn't good. Put on almost any Eminem album and I'm not discriminating to time and put it on shuffle amongst people ANY people. It won't move them. I think Em had plenty of potential to be a good artist but instead of becoming this mature developed artist he let his current fan base gas his head about the least important aspects of his music

He clearly is just having fun making music these days as passion not to prove anything to anyone lol.

For me, the biggest issue with Em's post 2003 music is too much randomness and experimentation, all without any kind of self-awareness to identify what suits him and what sounds awkward.

TSSLP-TES, Em sounds so authentic with his delivery. But after 8 Mile, he started experimenting with weird voices and accents. After dropping the accent, he developed an obsession with rapping as fast as possible and rhyming as many words as possible, even if the lyrics were pure gibberish, not to mention he started catering to the pop crowd, the same crowd he would've mocked in 2002.

Em's lyrics use to have clever humor, heart, and thoughtful commentary even if it was edgy, but now he only raps to show off his technical skills, which are often presented with a choppy and robotic flow that doesn't fit the beat. A lot of people complain about the corny punchlines and I can't fault them for that, but I'm not trying to bash Em here or sound like a hater. I could look past a few corny lines here and there if the rest of the song was listenable.

Used to be the biggest Em stan back in the day, even bought a copy of Infinite off of Ebay in addition to all of his unreleased mixtapes. Would love to see Em get back into form one day, but this would require a huge change in direction that he doesn't seem to have an interest in. Oh well, he still gave us so many gems in his prime so I'll always have love for Em regardless .

You do have to give it up to them for at least continuing to do it for the love of the game. I hate to use Frank Ocean as an example because I am most definitely a fan but Its kinda annoying how much acclaim he's gotten over two (fine 3 if you count endless) albums over 10 years. If you can condense Em's last 3 albums into 1 and cut out all the riff-raff, I'm sure the response would be a lot better.

It's weird how we connect to certain artists. For whatever reason, I f*** so hard with Griselda even though I haven't ever been close to selling a brick (yet)

I listened to all of his albums last year in one day and what I did is a***yzed all the songs and I noticed on all of his albums were he’s rapping really well there’s a clear subject to the songs or a story.

A lot of his more recent album songs it’s him just rapping to rap. It’s a lot of him trying to prove that he can rap weird words or rap really fast.

I think in his life he used to have s*** to rap about including turmoil in his personal life, d****, newfound fame, and how media used to attack him.

He was controversial and more hungry.

Now he has a lot of lines that are so cheesy and corny I just don’t understand it.

All of his new albums have a couple or a few decent songs but most of the songs are cluttered with trash.

Another thing he used to do on his old albums which was very entertaining was he used to do a lot of Adlibs in the background and a lot of extra little voices in the background which was unique and made the songs more fun.
