That chick who said that people need a therapist for not letting a significant other hang out/go on a date is dumb as hell. That is how s*** happens. Like for instance, my ex was always a really flirty person with most people she came across even if I was right there and she was always that person to never say no to anything. She became friends with one of her coworkers and eventually started hanging out with him while I was at work. Fast forward a little bit and this keeps happening and I find out that she had been cheating on me. If a significant other wants to hang out with a guy, it's not gonna be one on one. If that guy likes them and is alone with them and the significant other is the type of person to never turn anything down, it's just a recipe for disaster.

Again this isn't s*** you find out about ahead of time. It's not like it was something there from the get go. You don't ever actually know someone until you get to know them on a more personal level. If further context is needed to understand that, she was someone who grew up super sheltered from s*** and ended up hanging out with the wrong people. She still was not that bad then, but picked up bad habits from her friends and continuously it kept getting worse through the relationship because her friends would get in between us and instigate issues between the two of us. Obviously, I had an issue with certain s*** like the flirting and would mention that s*** to her, but if you've ever been in a relationship you'd know that saying s*** like that majority of the time leads to an argument and it hardly ever gets resolved. Like yeah I knew it was probably gonna happen that she'd end up cheating, even though her words were "I'd never do that. My friends would never forgive me for doing that someone and they would disown me."

Like it happened even though I half expected it, but it wasn't like I was just gonna walk away before that happened just because I thought it was gonna be a possible thing. I literally rode it out for what it was and moved on immediately afterwards. S*** even with that possibility, would you turn down having s***2-3 times a day, every day for nearly a year?
