serenadedawn FM was excusable because he did a whole album of that sound after years of playing around with it. it felt like the logical culmination of all those 80s inspired songs he had been making. now it's like, is this really what you're gonna be doing for the rest of your career? pretty boring.

this whole trilogy should’ve just dropped under Abel, since he plans on doing the switch anyways
