This normalization of Rape Culture on the opposite end comes from the f***ing toxic mentality on Men’s role in the world having to be Dominant forces with a immense h**** energy at all times.
s*** is f***ing disgusting.
trying to infer that men who don’t appreciate your advances are inherently less masculine (as if that’s suppose to be a bad thing) or gay and or submissive (again as if anyone should be ashamed) ironically detracts and dehumanizes women as well who are “seen” and labeled as the submissive sex.
yeah, coming up. It was the female friends in my life that were actually trying to help our homies start that conversation, cause it's definitely a thing.
As men we're kinda just taught to either celebrate that s*** or just toughen up and let that s*** slide. But it dont really work that way.
Proof that women are hornier than men
Double standards is a b**** tho
Double standards are a b****, idk about the horniness thing thoigh

Exactly
The same way women victim blame other women calling them “slutty” or “asking for it”, men victim blame other men with this toxic masculinity

Gonna have to disagree and say Men are hornier than women just based off of the way we’re built biologically
The testosterone + the need to spread our seed as many times as possible
damn that’s tough
I’ve never been sexually assaulted but I’ve been sexually harassed in the past. There was one girl who would never leave me alone in high school constantly following me, catcalling me, commenting on posts and photos. All her friends just encouraged it too. Made me really uncomfortable and I didn’t know how to make it stop especially when friends would just tell me to go for it
also just a heads up for this thread. Men can be sexually assaulted and harassed but please don’t feel the need to diminish the issue of women being sexually assaulted or harassed in here. Victims are victims
It sucks that it’s double standards when it comes to this but it’s clear that it happens both ways

This s*** is probably happening more then we all realize and it’s just so normalized that the average male who is the victim/target of this culture tries to shrug it off as normal when they know it’s not sub consciously
Exactly

Precisely.
It’s especially disgusting when it comes to normalizing pedo females.
“Oh that kid is lucky”
or headlines making these cases look less harmful then they really are, irresponsibly leaving out how inappropriate this kind of relationship really is for a young boy.
Yeah a few times
It didn’t really bother me that much I’m not gonna lie, but it was never as severe as what happened to you op. I’m really sorry that happened
Exactly

Victim blaming is disgusting no matters who’s doing it
Men used to be so insecure about being seen as less masculine and more submissive that they wouldn’t even go down on their own wives.
Yeah a few times

regardless of how it affected you, you would agree that it’s not okay. Right?

If your woman goes down on you it only seems right you reciprocate it

Duh nigga!

Sad! S*** is pathetic.
Sad! S*** is pathetic.
I’m sure some guys don’t like going down, which is okay and they shouldn’t do it if they don’t want to. But if you truly care about someone, wouldn’t you want them to feel good?

Yeah. Lemme be clear.
If you don’t feel comfortable with it, then don’t
but some people’s uncomfortablity comes from a place of insecurity, toxic masculinity
a general feeling of having to be the dominant force at all times
which is an incredibly toxic mentality regardless of gender.
if you truly care about your partner though, you should be at least trying to adapt and give them the same kind of pleasure they give you

That’s why relationships need communication. Finding out what your partner doesn’t like/expressing what you don’t like and proposing doing things for them that make up for it
